CAIRO – A semi hauling electronics rolled over on the exit 1 ramp on southbound I-57 in Alexander County around 7:20 Wednesday morning.

According to Illinois State Police, the semi’s driver was taken to a hospital with injuries.

The semi’s trailer was loaded with 14,000 pounds of electronics and was still intact.

A tow service responded for recovery.

The crash is under investigation. There’s no additional information to share at this time.
