CARBONDALE – A Carbondale man pled guilty Tuesday to Attempted First-degree Murder in Jackson County Court.
According to the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office, a jury trial for 21-year-old Cody Simon was originally set for this month.
Just after midnight on Feb. 21 of this year, Carbondale Police responded to the 900 block of East Park Street for a report of a battery taking place.
