VIENNA –  The Illinois Department of Transportation says both directions of Illinois 146, just east of I-24, in Vienna will be closed this weekend, weather permitting, for a culvert replacement project. 

The closure will begin Friday at 6 p.m. The roadway should be back open by 6 a.m. Monday. 

A marked detour using Illinois 147 and Illinois 145 will be in place to help you get around the closure on Illinois 146. 

You should pay close attention to changing conditions and all detour signs prior to the work zone, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using your mobile device and be alert for workers and equipment.
