SHAWNEETOWN – Gallatin County Clerk and Recorder Deanna Bryant says her office will be mailing out ballots tomorrow to everyone that has returned a vote by mail application.

Due to delays with the USPS St. Louis Processing Center, Bryant recommends that as soon as you receive the ballot that you fill it out and mail it back. Bryant doesn’t want to see someone’s vote unable to be counted due to delays with the mail.

If you received a ballot, but no longer want to vote by mail, Bryant says don’t throw it away. It will need to be surrendered at the County Clerk’s office or at your polling location on Election Day.
