MCLEANSBORO – Early voting for the Nov. 5 General Election in Hamilton County will run weekdays from Thursday, Sept. 26 through Monday, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. at the Hamilton County Clerk’s Office in McLeansboro.
You will also be allowed to vote early on Saturday, Oct. 26, and on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to noon.
All precincts will be served at the early voting site.
County Clerk Heather Bowman says polling signs at the courthouse will not be set out until the election media and equipment have been tested. You are still welcome to vote, but your ballot will be cast to the auxiliary bin and tabulated after testing.
Vote by Mail applications are currently being accepted. The last day a ballot can be mailed out is Thursday, Oct. 31.
Grace Period Voting begins Wednesday, Oct. 9 and continues through Election Day. This is for those who have not yet registered and would like to vote. Two forms of identification with at least one showing your current address is required.
