MARION – A man is in the Williamson County Jail in connection with an alleged fight and possible stabbing at Lucky’s on West Main in Marion Tuesday afternoon.  

Marion Police Chief David Fitts says 69-year-old Leroy Lambert was issued citations for Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm and was taken to the Williamson County Jail to await his first court appearance.

Police got a call around 5:45 p.m. about the incident in the Lucky’s parking lot. They found two men on the ground with one on top of the other making a striking motion with a knife toward the torso of the other man. An officer quickly deployed his taser to prevent any further harm to the victim.

Officers were then able to detain Lambert without any further incident.

Officers then began lifesaving measures on the victim until paramedics could take over.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
