CARBONDALE – A 15-year-old juvenile from Cape Girardeau wanted in connection with an armed robbery Saturday in Carbondale was arrested by Carbondale Police Monday after his parent cooperated with the investigation and brought him to the police department.

The juvenile was arrested for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Aggravated Battery. After consulting with the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office, the juvenile was lodged in a juvenile detention center awaiting a court appearance.

Police responded to the 400 block of South Graham Street at 5 p.m. Saturday for a report of a shot fire. The investigation led to the arrest of two juveniles for related charges with one juvenile still being sought by police.
