MARION – Marion Police Friday received reports of burglaries involving unlocked vehicles that happened during the overnight hours.

Police say they have video footage of suspects attempting to open the handles of several locked cars.

To help deter these crimes, police want you to remember to follow the 9PM Routine:

• Remove valuables from vehicles.
• Lock your vehicle doors.
• Close your garage doors.
• Close and lock all exterior doors.
• Turn on exterior lights.

As always, if you notice anything suspicious, please do not confront anyone. Instead, call the police right away.
