CHRISTOPHER – Mary Frances Robinson, 90, of Christopher, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Herrin Hospital.

She was born on September 13, 1934, in Karnak, IL, to Ernest and Marie (McKinney) Miles. She married W. Esco Robinson on September 12, 1953, and he survives of Christopher.

She is also survives by her daughter, Cathy (Fred) Pitts of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Garrick (Kristen) Pitts, Meridith (Corey) Ruble, Christopher (Sharon) Pitts; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Thea, Lakya, Faith, Gabriel, Eden, Matthias, Renee, and Jazmine; one great-great-grandson Spence; one sister, Donna (Ronald) Dobbs; and one brother, Ronnie (Dora) Miles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 1 p.m., at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher. 

Visitation will be on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
