MCLEANSBORO – Barbara Lynch, age 68 years and resident of McLeansboro, passed away at 6:25 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
A Private Family Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born December 2, 1955, in Kalamazoo, MI, to Arnold Ray Poore and Wanda (Odle) Poore.
She married Dennis Lynch on June 20, 1997, in Paducah, KY. He survives in McLeansboro. She worked as a Wave Coordinator for Walgreen Distribution Center in Mt. Vernon. She loved playing with her grandchildren and she also worked at East Side Elementary School as an aide and loved working with the children.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Lynch of McLeansboro; mother, Wanda Poore of Lawton, MI; mother-in-law, Delsie Lynch; sister-in-law, Dian Kay Lynch; daughter, Lacey Braden and husband Nathan of McLeansboro; sons, Travis Flora and wife Kimberly of Mt. Vernon, and Justin Flora of Evansville, IN; step-sons Nick Lynch and wife Amy of Madisonville, KY, and Jimmy Lynch of Dale, IL; grandchildren Alyssa, Kaylee, Cody, Blake, Brayden, Olivia, Henley, Emerson, and Brylee.
Also surviving are sisters Shirley Owsiany and husband Mark of Lawton, MI; Virginia Sienicki and husband Stan of Lawton, MI; and very close friend, Todd Tracy, Linda Mathess and son Ethan of Washington, MO.
Preceding Barbara in death was her father, Arnold Ray Poore.
The Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements.
