MARION – The inaugural Lawyer in the Library Day will be held at the Marion Carnegie Library on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
This event will be walk-in appointments only, with walk-ins added to the appointment list until 3 p.m. Please bring paperwork that relates to your legal matter, if applicable.
Meet one-on-one with a local attorney with no charge at this special afternoon-long edition of Lawyer in the Library Day. Four local volunteer attorneys will be available to help with legal coaching, document review, referrals to additional community services, e-filing court documents, and other legal questions.
You are not eligible to participate if you are currently represented by an attorney.
Participants should reside the Illinois First Judicial Circuit which includes Alexander, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, and Williamson counties.
