BUCKNER – The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency reported just after 7 Friday evening a strong smell of anhydrous ammonia in the 100 block of North McDyby Street in Buckner.

Fire crews responded to the scene. Residents were asked to shelter in place.

The situation was secured around 7:45 p.m. No further action was needed.
