MCLEANSBORO – The Hamilton County Board will dive into a busy agenda when it meets Tuesday night.

Some of the items the Board will discuss and possibly approve include a date and details for a potential county surplus auction, a special event liquor license for Nathan Rowland with Rocking for a Cause on Nov. 1, the Fiscal Year 2022 Circuit Clerk audit report as prepared by Scheffel Boyle, allowing a portion of the 1 percent Public Safety Tax to reimburse the county for 911 dispatch, a one-time payment of $3,000 from the ARPA fund to help support the Trade Industries recycling program.

Three recommendations from the County Highway department are also on the agenda for discussion and possible approval. They include a resolution for the Dahlgren Road project, the preliminary engineering services agreement for the South Twigg Township Bridge in the amount of $2,777, and the sale of county property located in the southwest quadrant of 1800 North and 600 East.
