MT. VERNON – Two Centralia residents have been arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged burglary at Woodlawn High School.

According to the sheriff’s office, 24-year-old Andrew T. Davis was arrested Friday on a burglary warrant while 23-year-old Shellena J. Mandrell was arrested Tuesday on a burglary warrant.

Both warrants stemmed from the same Aug. 20 burglary at Woodlawn High School. These charges were a result of an investigation by sheriff’s detectives, which also led to evidence being recovered.

Davis’ bond is set at $30,000. Mandrell’s is $25,000. They are lodged in the Jefferson County Justice Center.

The investigation into multiple burglaries in the Woodlawn area is ongoing. More charges in those cases are anticipated.
