McLeansboro City Council Set to Meet Tonight

MCLEANSBORO – The McLeansboro City Council will discuss and take possible action on an ordinance establishing an administrative procedure for assessing and determining claims under the Public Safety Employee Benefit Act when it meets tonight at 6 at City Hall.

The council will also discuss and take possible action on several more items including a request for a special events liquor license by Doug Stringer, owner of Trackers’ Lodge on South Washington Street, a resolution in support of Illinois Bicentennial Celebrations, a TIF reimbursement by Blair Minton for Fox Meadows LLC, accepting a sealed bid for the purchase of a new police car, city employee and volunteer firefighter Christmas bonuses, adopting a second amendment to the natural gas agreement, amending the original agreement and replacing  the first amendment, and a resolution authorizing and approving the execution of an intergovernmental agreement with the Illinois Comptroller’s Office regarding access to the Comptroller’s Local Debt Recovery Program.
