Two Arrested in Ina on Child Endangerment and Meth Charges

INA – Two Ina residents were arrested Wednesday morning after the Department of Children and Family Services responded to the home with Ina police on a report of child abuse.

According to reports, 28-year-old Ashley White and 29-year-old Travis Smith were arrested for alleged causing a child to be endangered and possession of methamphetamine.

DCFS had received a report around 6 p.m. Tuesday of alleged child abuse at the home. An investigation led to a search warrant being issued for the home in the 600 block of South Orchard Avenue in Ina where White and Smith were taken into custody.
